Backstory

Robin was born in District 7. Her biological father was a businessman from the Capitol, who was known for being a philanderer. His occupation forced him to travel frequently throughout the nation. It's because of this that he would meet women from different districts and have intimate relationships with them.

Some of these encounters resulted in pregnancies. As soon as he discovered that the women he was with were pregnant, he would leave whatever district he was in, never to be seen by the women again.

Robin's mother decided to keep the baby. However, she didn't have the money to look after a child. When Robin was born, her mother gave her up for adoption and left, also never to be seen again.

As both of her parents left her before she was even a one year old, she never got to know them (nor did she have any interest in finding them as she grew up).

Robin was adopted by Sigmund, a Peacekeeper with PTSD -- who had defected and turned on The Capitol after witnessing a tragedy. Because of his defection, Sigmund lost almost everything.

Not knowing any other parental figure, she came to view Sigmund as her father and her friend. She kept Sigmund company, enjoyed his cooking and spent time with him, comforting him when he had flashbacks.

This made Robin grateful for the help Sigmund gave her, therefore wanting to repay him. Due to this desire to repay him and a wish to give him a better life (one free from poverty), she wasn't afraid when the Reaping rolled around. If anything, she was ready.

Personality

Robin is an introverted and quiet girl, preferring to be by herself as she has a hard time talking to others. However, once she gets to know someone and/or becomes comfortable with them, she will be kind and friendly towards them. She is loyal to those who she trusts, such as Sigmund.

She is very stealthy, making her elusive and hard-to-find at times. An example of when she can be elusive is when she's climbing trees. She spends a lot of time outdoors, appreciating the natural beauty of District 7.

Another trait that she has is her resourcefulness, possessing the ability to come up with solutions quickly and being able to calculate the pros and cons of different scenarios.

Robin can be brave, motivated and adventurous, and is capable of taking risks.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Due to her appreciation of the outdoors and the district she lives in, Robin is very adept at climbing and plant knowledge. She honed both of these skills through climbing the trees abundant in District 7 and being taught by Sigmund to identify poisonous plants; said plants being vast in the wilds of District 7. When she's spending time outside, she can find these plants for herself and refer back to her teachings.

It's because of her knowledge of the outdoors and experience that she became very resourceful and stealthy. If she needs to, she can easily find suitable places to take cover and she make useful makeshift items out of measly materials she comes across. As previously mentioned, she can come up with solutions to her problems and calculate the consequences of said scenarios.

However, she isn't as adept in the strength or combat departments; mostly due to her small frame. When in danger, she prefers to utilise her stealth. She also tries to avoid most social situations as she initially isn't much of a talker; the only person she ever talks to is Sigmund.

Alliance

Robin's initial instinct is to go it alone. However, she would be open to alliances if she finds someone who she feels is similar to her and/or the alliance would be beneficial. She's hesitant to join large alliances.

• Notes: Robin's role in these Games were defined by a showmance with her ally that later turned into a genuine romance, only for it to later have a tragic ending. After her victory, she appeared in the sequel as a mentor.
