Appearance: Finland is of average height and is rather skinny, and is rather lean. He has neat black hair similar to his brother and grey eyes.
Strengths/skills: Great with plants, able to create a functioning farm easy, great with animals, taming even the wildest beasts, and very fast.
Weakness(es): Refuses to kill anything, no weapons skills.
Personality: Finland is much nicer and softer than his commanding brother, and is very much a true pacifist. He wishes no harm on anyone, and shows great love and compassion for the plants and animals he cares for. He's the silent type as opposed to his loud and proud brother, and doesn't talk to others as much. However he'll gladly explain how a plant or animal works and acts, loving to share his knowledge on the subject. He's very helpful and extremely caring, wishing the best to everyone, friend or foe, and not able to bring himself to harm a fly. His big flaw is he's easy to put in grief, as killing one of his plants or animals might make him break down in tears. Other than this, Finland is a nice and soft caretaker of all things living.
Backstory/History: Finland was born in District 3 5 years after his brother Francis. Francis convinced Finland to adopt the name "Finn" to avoid embarassment for having such a strange name.
At age 4, his parents split up, and he went with his dad to District 10. It was there he grew a love for nature, staying outside so much that his dad had to drag him back inside before the monsters of the night came out.
He tended to his own garden, loving it's prosper, and harvested the bounty, offering it to his two dogs and his father, who was very surprised to see how loving his son had become. His father reached out and started to teach him all he knew about plants and animals, and soon, Finland's love for nature increased even more.
The boy's green thumb and animal calming skills gained him attention in the district. He was known as "Nature boy" by many, a name he came to accept, and he often helped people out with their problems.
Even though he had the greatest of karma, the odds were not in his favor, and soon after turning 13, he was reaped. He didn't want to kill anything, and almost broke down, but sucked it up, thinking of planting a garden and raising animals in the games, and pretending that he was just at home in District 10.
