Backstory[]
Omega's Journal entry after the reaping;
The night I lost them was the worst night of my life. They broke into my house and stole everything my family had worked so damned hard to earn. I don't know how they thought we wouldn't notice, but we did. It's all my fault. Being the youngest child has its perks, but also its flaws. So one day, I and Alpha got into a major fight and since I'm five years younger, I was unable to fight back. He has so much more experience than me at fighting, and it's impossible for me to fight back without breaking everything in my body.
I talked to one of my brothers worst enemies, and I basically offered him my firstborn for him to get revenge on my brother at work. I thought he would just play a cheap, old, practical joke. I was wrong, he did the worst thing possible, murder.
So last night I fell asleep, wondering when that kid would put the plan into action, but aparently he had other plans. I was nervous since tomorrow was the reaping day, but I could tough it up until tomorrow. I was wrong. I heard the screams of my parents and then three of my siblings. I felt so damned scared, waiting for my turn, just another cow going in for slaughter. The same guy I made the deal with, broke into my room, and after studying my body for a minute, he decided that he would cut my right wrist up. I didn't protest, I didn't want to die. Eventually after the scars were left, the intruder left and I fell asleep. To make a long story short, I was reaped today.
Now the cut on my wrist is starting to bleed, so I better stop writing. I really don't want to talk about how everything happened, so I may or may not be making the fact that my wrist is bleeding. Maybe all of this is a lie. But I somehow doubt I'm going to get out of this alive, so my brother will explain that this is true. But inside of me, still knowing that I have lost everything. there's a desire to survive.
